"Please forgive me" is a song that was written and recorded by Canadian rock musician Bryan Adams in conjunction with producer Robert Lange. In 1993 it was released as the only single and bonus track from the compilation “So far so good”.

Bryan Adams commented in an interview with Songfacts that this was one of the first songs where he agreed to use an instrumental intro (modulation), only found on the album version of the song.
This single acquired No. 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.
In the United Kingdom, it peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart and also topped the charts in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Ireland, Norway and Portugal.
“Please forgive me” achieved great success not only among Bryan Adams fans, but also on radio around the world. More than three million copies have been sold worldwide.
At the time, Billboard critic Larry Flick commented that the song "puts him in a familiar role: sad romantic", further stating that the "guitar-framed rock ballad is an easy hit, thanks to the friendly and evolving sound of Bryan Adams and an infectious refrain". But that didn't stop there, Larry also characterized it as an “imposing music” and a “delicious touch of candy for the ears”.
The performance music video received a significant amount of TV airplay. The studio band, which appears in the same, includes keyboardists David Paich and Robbie Buchanan, guitarist Shane Fontayne, bassist James "Hutch" Hutchinson, guitarist Keith Scott, drummer Mickey Curry and producer Mutt Lange.
